Here are the pictures that I took of Jacob, Lexi and Lexi's BFF Ashley when I was at work last Sunday. They were so cute. I love when my subjects are so easy to work with. I could have taken pictures of Jacob all day if they let me. I had to rush through Lexi and Ashley's because I squeezed them in right before we got busy. It was fun, and I was very impressed with my own work on these.

What's For Dinner Wednesday?
I thought I would start another weekly blog idea... What's for dinner Wednesdays. I can't promise that the dinner will be interesting but it just might spark someone to try something new, or make an old favorite.
Tonight was supposed to be tacos. I took the hamburger out of the freezer yesterday so that it would be nice and thawed for tonight. I completely forgot that I took that out and we stopped at Taco Bell for lunch on our way home from the mall. I should have just skipped that cause it made my stomach hurt and I always order way more than I can eat. It was still good though.
Anyways, that nixed dinner. Couldn't have tacos for lunch and then again for dinner... well, we could, but I just didn't want to. So, I made spaghetti instead. Which I didn't have any of. I had leftover mashed potatoes with corn mixed in. I would have had a helping of spaghetti except for the fact that I wasted three bowls of spaghetti by putting bad spaghetti sauce on it.
Awhile ago I bought a giant container of spaghetti sauce since we have spaghetti so often. I bought it on one of my monthly trips to Sam's Club with my good friend, Tiffany. She lets me mooch off her membership. I'm gonna have to get my own soon... but, I digress.
Who knew that spaghetti sauce didn't last that long. It actually smelled like alcohol... which I didn't realize until after I poured it into three bowls of spaghetti. I am SO SO SO glad I didn't pour it directly into the pot like I often do. I would have wasted a whole pack of spaghetti. I am also glad that I had a jar of tomato sauce in the cupboard. No, not exactly the same thing, but at least it was something for the kids to top off their 'sketti with. They seemed to enjoy it well enough.
So, be forewarned... spaghetti sauce does not last forever and if it has been sitting in your fridge for an undetermined amount of time, smell it before pouring it over your spaghetti. You may not be like me and have 5 more packs of it sitting in your cupboard.
P.S. I don't think my 200th post is going to get 200 comments by Saturday. I think we are barely a 10th of the way there. Oh well, one of you commentators will be in the drawing for a prize. I will select a winner and then ask you what you would prefer for your gift card since I don't feel like making that decision. Good luck to my loyal readers.

Seven - no, not the movie
I've been tagged by Beth over at C. Beth Blog so I am here to fulfill my tagging duties (because it's not like I have motherly and wifely duties I should be doing, heehee!)
Apparently I have to reveal 7 things that you (a.k.a. the blogging world) doesn't know about me. This is going to be tough. I don't have the greatest memory but I sure will try to think of seven interesting (well, maybe semi-interesting) things you don't know but would like to file away in your useless knowledge area of your brain. So here goes...
1. I was a pregnant teen. That pregnancy ended in a stillbirth in 1999. My angel's name is Abrielle.
2. I was engaged for the first time when I was 17. That ended shortly after my stillbirth.
3. My husband was my date to our high school military ball (freshman year). We didn't start dating until 4 yrs later when he asked me to his college military ball (freshman year). That time turned out a lot better.
4. I dressed up as the Easter Bunny when I was 15. I was working at a greenhouse and got recruited for that task. It wasn't gross or traumatizing. LoL
5. I wrote my first poem (that I remember) when I was 12. I can recite it almost word for word. I get tripped up at some parts since it has been 15 yrs since I wrote it. I'll give it a try though.
"While at the beach staring at the sky, I was eating a peach when I saw something fly by.
When suddenly it hit me, a boot from the sky. So I thought up a creation of a boot that could fly.
The wonderful creation, yes she was a beauty. And thee who flew it, yes he was a cutie.
He flew east and west, north and south, but the cutie inside never opened his mouth.
One day as he flew up above, I suddenly realized that I was in love.
As he landed on the ground, he didn't make a sound. Yet he invited me in, for a cool glass of gin.
Without a word we began to make love, as we soared off the ground like a plain white dove.
He finally spoke and he got down on one knee and said to me, 'Brianna, will you marry me?'
I gleemingly said yes, with a little laughter. And me and him lived happily ever after."
*Yes, I wrote that at the age of 12, referencing alcohol, sex and marriage.
6. I have two tattoos. The first I got for my daughter, Abrielle, when I was 19. It is on my lower back, a cross with her initials. The second I just got in July while I was in California. It is my zodiac symbol and some stars on my foot.
7. Seven is the number of times I have been pregnant. Besides the five living children (at least for the time being, they aren't behaving so well right now) and my angel baby, I also had a miscarriage when I was 7wks along in July 2003.
Alright, I hope those were good enough. Thanks for tagging me, Beth. Now if I only knew 7 people to tag HA! Kidding... of course I will tag some of my regulars... Tiffany, Christina and Special - K (I don't think they have been tagged yet). And let's see... how about Anna, Kama and Trace. Get to it, mamas!

Sick, just truly sickening
The sight I came across not too long ago is too horrifying for words. I have been meaning to blog about it for some time now. I just stumbled across the picture again and thought I better come post it before I forget again.
It really takes a special kind of sick to mangle a body like this...

That poor Barbie! This was an act of a crazed animal... literally... our dog thought it would be a good idea to tear the Barbie apart limb for limb.
Curiosity
So, I get a lot of people coming to my blog over and over and over again. They come from the same places, yet I have no clue who they are. Since I am curious, I would like for my readers to answer some questions for me.
1. How did you find my blog?
2. Do you click on my link from another blog or from another website?
3. Where are you from? I get lots of people from Florida and Virginia and not sure I know anyone from there.
4. How often to you read my blog?
5. Do you know me personally or are we strangers?
Leave a comment with your answers. You don't have to be registered. You can leave anonymous comments. Your comment can be as simple as, "Hi, I found your blog on Tiffany's blog. I am from Maryland. I check in everyday to see if you have anything new. Nope, never met."
Come on people, humor me LoL

Movie Review Monday
It's the moment you have been waiting for! My review of High School Musical 3: Senior Year. Without further ado, here it is...
High School Musical 3: Senior Year - The third (and not sure if it is the final due to something I read) installment of the High School Musical phenomenon comes Senior Year. Full of music and dancing, almost non stop, tear jerking moments, lots of laugh and even a scream or two. The girls went WILD for Troy Bolton (Zac Efron) and they clapped after a number of musical breakouts. The premise for the 3rd HSM movie was the characters are in their final year at East High. They have to make decisions about college and have TONS going on. Not sure if they can pull off an end of the year musical, Darbus challenges them to play out their senior year, ON STAGE! From falling in love, playing basketball, and going to the senior prom... they do it all. The soundtrack for this will be amazing. There wasn't a dull moment at all in the movie. In my opinion it was not as good as the first two but then again, it didn't have to be. The kids (and lots of moms too) were already hooked and likely would have paid with an actual body part if they had to... maybe a kidney, or a piece of the liver. It has become that much of a passion for some. Like I said previously, there was tons of music. Way more than the first two, I think. The acting... very over the top. In the first two they seemed more relaxed, more real. This time you could tell they were trying hard because they were now big time Hollywood stars. We all still loved it and we would go see it again if we could. I will definitely be buying this one (no way I could get away without getting it) when it finally comes out. 4.75 stars on a 5pt scale... I would have given it 5 stars but the acting and way more songs than the last two made me mark it down just a touch.
I promise the kids will love it and it will be well worth it just to put that smile on their faces. We took the three oldest and for the most part they sat their the whole time. My 4yr old kept saying, "Look Lexi! It's Zac Efron. Jacob, it's Gabriella." It was so cute. Then she kept going back and forth between me and Lexi and it started to get annoying. Jacob started throwing a fit half way through the movie because he wanted to sit next to Lexi but so did Kadie. John only had to make two trips to the potty... once for Jacob, once for the girls. That has GOT to be some kind of record and definitely an indicator that Jacob liked the movie since he wasn't asking to leave or to go to the bathroom twelve times.
And because I'm sure you were wondering (because I know I was)...
From MTV New UK
High School Musical 3: Senior Year has gone straight to number one in the US Box Office taking a massive $42 Million (£27 M) in just three days.
This is the first big screen film in the HSM series and it’s set a record as Disney’s biggest opening for a musical- beating Mamma Mia- which came out earler in ’08.
In a strong weekend for US cinemas the less-family friendly Saw V sold over $30 million of tickets.
High School Musical 3- which stars Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron- also topped movie charts in 19 other countries including the UK- where it has taken £8.5 Million ($13 Million) so far.
From Los Angeles Times
As the film ends, some of the kids are heading off to Juilliard, Berkeley, Yale, Stanford and the University of Arizona, but never fear, as there are some new, younger characters introduced in the story to keep the next film (should there be one) with some grounding at good old East High. For those scoring at home, the third entry in the "High School Musical" series is better than the second but doesn't quite sustain the unvarnished, giddy highs of the first.

I Completely Forgot...
about Fun Photo Friday! Dang it!!! Let's see what kinda goods I got for you today.
These are from our AWESOME Halloween Party. Everyone had a BLAST!!! It was a lot of fun for the kids and adults alike. The weather was perfect. The hubbies were well behaved. Us moms chit chatted. It was all good!!! Seemed to be a lot of people getting hurt though... guess it's not a real party until someone starts bleeding right.
Lexi came in 3rd place in the costume contest. She was a monster bride.
Cate came in 2nd. She came as herself but she was supposed to be dressed as Dora. I almost voted for her (as the tie breaker vote).
First place went to Wyatt. He was the cutest little cowboy ever!
Us moms dressed up too. But Brittini took the top prize with her awesome Miss Piggy costume!! She looked amazing. I was dressed as Abby from NCIS but of course no one knew who I was and thought I just dressed like that all the time HA! Christina made a slight effort... I give her at least a little credit. There was a pumpkin shirt and a cute headband involved. Tiffany came as a Clampett, Ellie, I think she said. I didn't know that was who she was but that's ok, she was still cute as pie.
Speaking of pie... the pie eating contest was the BEST part of the entire party. Those will definitely be the money making shots. They are hilarious. Tiffany and Mike won that contest. It was pretty much a tie. They frickin devoured a half of a pie in no time flat. I was laughing too hard and just couldn't get the pie to go down... it was fun as hell though.
