If you haven't done so already, get out and vote. I would prefer for you to vote Republican but I won't try to sway you if your mind is made up.
This is my first year ever voting and I have had the right, no... the obligation to do so for 9 years. This is the first time I have really had a vested interested in the election. You may not think your vote counts, but I believe it does.
So get off your computer and take a drive over to your polling location. Cast your vote and head on over to Krispy Kreme for a free donut. You can then wash that down with a free 12oz coffee from Starbucks. Then after dinner tonight take a trip to your local Baskin Robbins for some free ice cream. All that free stuff, just for voting!!!
JUST DO IT!!
ETA: I totally lied about Baskin Robbins... I was reading Beth's blog earlier and she mentioned Ben & Jerry's. My mommy brain couldn't retain all the information I had read and substituted Baskin Robbins for Ben & Jerry's. I looked it up and there is no mention of free ice cream on their website, oops, sorry. But they do have two new presidential flavors that sound like they might be worth a try. They have Whirl of Change and Straight Talk Crunch. I personally think I would love the Straight Talk Crunch, sounds so yummy.
P.S. Sorry for getting you excited about BR Beth! My bad! LoL

Dude, Baskin Robbins too?! YUUUM! I already got my Starbucks. :)
I think it is so, so awesome that you are voting for the first time. Go, Bri!!! Your family already does so much for our country; you deserve to have a say in how it's run too.
Ha ha--very glad I didn't add that to my blog! :) I tried one of those BR flavors--I think it was the Dem one (only because it sounded better)--it was yummy!
