That was how I voted! I loaded the kids up in the wagon and we walked to the school so I could vote. I packed a diaper bag full of snacks and goodies to keep the troops happy if we had to wait. Surprisingly, where were very few cars in the parking lot. When I drove by at noon the lot was packed, so I was happy that we wouldn't have a terrible wait.
A nice man held the door open for me so I could pull the wagon in behind me. Everyone was very nice and not annoyed at all that my 5 kids were with me. They were pretty well behaved for the small space we had to stand in to vote. I didn't know we did the electronic voting here but it was so quick and easy, I loved it. Now let's just hope my vote doesn't get lost in cyberspace.
I voted on all 9 pages, submitted my vote and adorned my "I'm a Georgia Voter" sticker. I was feeling very patriotic. Maybe that had to do with all the red, white and blue leis the kids and I were wearing. Either way, I felt like I had really made a difference. I am hopeful that this country will do what is right and not vote based solely on the party of their choice or the color of the candidates skin.

The leis are a great idea! Poll workers probably got a kick out of that.
Congratulations on your first votes! Good for you.
We still vote with pen & paper here in MN, but it seems like we're one of the last holdouts. Maybe next time, we'll have electronic voting here. Is there a way to make a correction if you accidentally pressed the wrong button?
